Anton Gueth Joins Burrill Merchant BankingDecember 06, 2006

Burrill & Company, a San Francisco-based global leader in life sciences with principal activities in Venture Capital, Merchant Banking and Media, today announced that Anton Gueth has joined the firm as Managing Director, Merchant Banking. Anton will assist clients in structuring, negotiating and closing spin out, M&A, licensing, and other transactions. He will also have a particular focus on structuring and improving corporate alliances between large biopharmaceutical companies and their partners.
Anton began his career at Eli Lilly, where he spent almost 20 years in positions involving business development, finance and general management, including General manager of Africa and the Middle East.. In his last position he was instrumental in creating and managing Lilly’s Office of Alliance Management which managed all of Lilly’s corporate partnerships and involved more than 100 biotech and other partners
Prior to joining Burrill & Company, Anton founded his own consulting firm which specialized in supporting corporate alliances, and Business and Corporate Development for a number of global pharmaceutical and Biotech clients.
He holds a MS in Agricultural Economics, and an MPA from Indiana University in Bloomington.
