Paul Freiman
Venture Partner, BrazilOver 40 years of experience in founding and management of biotechnology and healthcare companies. Mr. Freiman, former CEO of Syntex, led the company through its acquisition by Roche Holdings in $5.3 billion transaction. He has been chairman of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of America Association (PhRMA) and has also chaired a number of key PhRMA committees both domestic and international. He served as CEO of a biotech firm based in California. He serves on three biotechnology Boards as well as that of a Major Japanese Company.
Currently domiciled in Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Freiman has extensive experience in Latin America, having also served as Vice President Latin America.
