Aubree Wermelinger

Ms. Wermelinger joined Burrill & Company as Human Resources Administrator/Recruiting Manager responsible for developing and managing recruiting efforts to support the firm’s internal needs and its portfolio companies. She is also in charge of creating and managing a company-wide internship program in partnership with top universities across the U.S. Additionally, Ms. Wermelinger is responsible for human resources administration for the firm.

She has a B.A. in Psychology and earned her M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University. As Academic Recruitment Manager for Kaplan University, within a five year period she singlehandedly sourced and recruited more than 2,000 professors nationwide into their adjunct program. She is also presently an adjunct professor teaching Employment and Staffing, Employee Training and Development, and Academic Strategies. Prior to Kaplan, Ms. Wermelinger served as Employee Development Manager for Tower Records, handling all recruiting and human resources activities for retail customer service representatives and management. There she specialized in work motivation, employee training, and incentives.
