Darren N. Streiler

Principal

Darren Streiler joined Burrill & Company in 2011 and works as a Principal in the Merchant Banking Group serving the agricultural and industrial biotechnology sectors. Mr. Streiler has 13 years experience in the investment industry including over 9 years spent with fundamentally driven buy-side funds and three years on the sell-side. Most recently, Mr. Streiler was a Vice President with HighMark Capital Management, a division of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where he managed the Energy, Industrials, and Materials sectors. Prior to this position, Mr. Streiler was an Analyst at SAC Capital Advisors where he co-managed a $100 Million healthcare hedge fund. Prior to SAC, he was an Analyst at Amerindo Investment Advisors. Mr. Streiler began his career in Equity Research at Citigroup.
Mr. Streiler received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley (Haas).
