Tee Wee Lee

Venture partner

Tee Wee Lee is a venture partner heading up Burrill & Company’s Singapore office. He has more than 25 years of experience working with both the public and private sectors, helping companies and governments manage complexity, logistics, and security. Mr. Tee Wee has held senior roles with Rare Medium and Andersen Consulting and has also helped develop China’s education market, through his work in the Singapore Institute of Management, Cynefin Centre, and the Asia Pacific Learning and Knowledge Management Council. He was Managing Director of one of largest electrical contractor in South East Asia and has also built and managed hotels in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

He has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo and is an alumnus of IMD Switzerland. While at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he represented Singapore at the 50th United Nations General Assembly on the International Economics Committee and was an active participant in APEC and WTO. He was Centre Director of the Beijing Office of the Singapore Economic Development Board, where he worked to promote collaboration between China and Singapore in the biotech industry.
