Randy Guggenheimer

Managing Director

Mr. Guggenheimer began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers almost 20 years ago. He has focused exclusively in the health care sector, with activities spanning M&A, equity and debt financings, and strategic transactions. Prior to joining Burrill & Co. in January 2007, Mr. Guggenheimer was Managing Director and Head of Healthcare for the Americas region of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Mr. Guggenheimer was also a Managing Director in Health Care at The Nassau Group. Mr. Guggenheimer’s industry experience includes acting as CFO and financial advisor for Alteon Inc. Earlier, he advised other biotechnology companies on business planning, budgeting and financing. In 2002, his last year at Lehman, Mr. Guggenheimer was Managing Director of M&A, heading a team of 11 professionals. Mr. Guggenheimer received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard College.
