Brief Introduction

Peony decanter centrifuge is the mechanical equipment used for continuously separating the materials in the suspension with density difference, by the principle of centrifugal setting.

Basic principle

The drum and the spiral feeder rotate in the same direction but with a certain speed difference; the material is led into the feeding spiral inner cylinder via the feeding pipe and, after speeding up, enters the drum; under the action of the centrifugal force field, the relatively heavier solid-phase material deposits on the drum wall forming the residue layer; the solid-phase residue is continuous feeding, separating, dehydrating and discharging under full-speed running.

Scope of application

• It is applicable to the separating of the suspension with the diameter of the granule of solid-phase material greater than 0.005 mm and with the concentration ranging from 2% to 40%.
• It has found wide applications in such trades as chemical,Light industry,Pharmacy,food,environmental protection,etc
• In nowadays technology ,2phase decanter centrifuge with disc separator group and 3phrase decanter centrifuge(tricanters) are both widely adopted in the industry.the machine group is for some small working capacity factory lower than 5000L/H,in the contrary,most of the factory with bigger capacity will use 3phase decanter centrifuge for such process.we will have specific chapter to introduce my 3phase decanter centrifuge.
• After separation by 2phase decanter centrifuge,the fish oil and fish water will be discharge from the liquid outlet,then,if you need to extract the fish water to get its protein,use disc stack centrifugal separator for further treatment,you will get clear oil and fish water separately.the water could be extracted and dried and act as protein power to add into the fishmeal to get higher protein content,it could bring you more economic benefit compared with the lower protein content foodstuff.
