Description:

GCL is a new environmentally friendly composite waterproof impermeable material, it’s bentonite particles filled in woven and nonwoven geotextile between the upper layer of non-woven fibers through the bentonite particles, through a special process and equipment, with the acupuncture method of weaving on the link in the lower composite. Geosynthetic Clay Liner has the advantages of small size, light weight, good flexibility and seal easy for construction and suitable for uneven settlement. The GCL normally used in environment engineering or landfill emissions, underground reservoirs, underground infrastructure construction projects, sealing solution, segregation, anti-leakage, good effect, anti-destructive.

Advantages:

1. Compactness: sodium bentonite in a state of formation of high density diaphragm during water pressure in thickness of about 3mm , its permeability equivalent to 100 times of 30cm thickness clay liner, with a strong self-protection water performance.

2. With a permanent waterproof performance: because of natural sodium bentonite -based inorganic material , even after a very long time or changes in the surrounding environment , aging or corrosion does not occur.

3. Simple construction and short construction period: comparing to other waterproof materials, GCL is relatively simple and does not require heating and paste, just bentonite powder and nails , washers, etc. After construction does not require special inspection , if found defective water is also easy to repair.

4. Subject to temperature effects: In cold weather conditions will not be brittle .

5. Waterproofing materials and objects Integration: sodium bentonite with a capacity of 20-28 times the expansion , even concrete structures vibrate and subsidence , GCL bentonite within less than 2mm can repair cracks in the concrete surface.

6. Environment friendly: Bentonite is a natural inorganic material , harmless non-toxic, no particular effect on the environment , with good environmental performance.
