Basically having the air (nitrogen and oxygen) in packed bottles/
Cans makes few difficulties which explained here in below:
1) The life time of the product will decrease due to existing
oxygen.
2) The product will have expansion or contraction due to area
temperature such as sunshine, refrigerator or ambient temperature
and it can cause deformation of the bottles.
3) The bottles/ Cans are not strong enough for labeling and
transportation.However packing charges are high which can be less
than it is.
4) Taste, color and freshness of the products will change.
5) For hot fillings, after the product became cold it can cause
deformation of the bottles/ Cans due to contraction.
All above mentioned problems can be solved easily by using
Nitrodoser system.
A precisely timed drop of liquid nitrogen is being dosed into a
bottle/ Can after filling and before sealing/capping.
The liquid nitrogen rapidly turns into nitrogen gas at room
temperature and expels the air from the empty bottle/ Cans and
headspace. This process can provide drastically reduced oxygen
content in bottles /
Cans if it is being capped at a defined time after dosing and also
makes a little pressure inside the bottle/ Cans to protect any
deformation caused by product contraction.
