    Reducer is used to connect two pipes of different size in a piping system. One end of the reducer corresponds to the diameter of the large diameter pipe and the other end of the Concentric Reducer corresponds to the diameter of the small diameter pipe.


    Concentric Reducer is a type of reducer used in piping systems. It has a cone shape to allow gradual change in pressure rather than a sudden shift. This feature of the Concentric Reducer makes it applicable in high pressure fluid flow systems where there is a risk of breaking under high pressure.


    The Eccentric Reducer is an odd shape. It has expansion in its body only on one side of the length of it. The other side of the length remains parallel to the pipes. This makes it easy to align and handle in specific locations. Eccentric Reducer is also effective as the concentric ones but is more specific in needs. SCH 40 WPB reducer indicates the nominal pipe size in Schedule 40.
