We include studs and template with all brushed bronze letters that are 1/4" or thicker. Mounting studs are threaded prongs that screw into the back of the letter, they should be coated with construction grade adhesive and set in holes drilled into the wall. Spacers are available for offset mounting that can create more dimension for the letters on the surface and produce a nice drop shadow. The paper template shows the location of the studs and the proper alignment and spacing of the lettering.
