Product Description
For this type of pump, the barrel is put in the well to the
designed depth with tubing. And then put the plunger into the
barrel with sucker rod. Given the tubing size, the bore of the
tubing pump is larger than that of the rod pump, so the pump rate
is higher. According to seating mode, the rod pump can be divided
into three types: Stationary Heavy Wall, Cup Seating, Tubing pump,
THM pump (Stationary Heavy Wall Mech. Seating, Tubing Pump) and THD
pump.

For some large production wells, larger bore of tubing pump can be
worked if the on-off connector is installed. Tubing pump is the
strongest pump. It has large flowing area for fluid and it is
suitable for producing viscosity oil.

The operating principle of tubing pumps involves fixing the pump
barrel assembly directly onto a tubing string. The plunger assembly
is connected to the sucker rod string and moves up and down in a
reciprocating motion to facilitate the production process. One
major advantage of tubing pumps is that in case of issues with the
traveling valve or fixed valve, only the valve side components such
as the sucker rod, piston, and extractor need to be replaced. This
eliminates the need to remove the entire pump and tubing string
from the well, resulting in reduced labor intensity and operational
costs.
