make precise calculations and adjustments for optimal engine
performance. Based on the intake manifold pressure, the ECU can
estimate the volume of air entering the engine, allowing it to
determine the appropriate amount of fuel to inject and the correct
ignition timing. This ensures efficient combustion and power
delivery under varying driving conditions.
In addition to the engine load calculation, the MAP sensor works in
conjunction with other sensors within the engine management system.
The throttle position sensor (TPS) provides information about the
position of the throttle plate, indicating the driver's demand for
