Product Description:
Meilong Tube specialises in the production of seamless and redrawn,
welded and redrawn coiled tubing. Made from austenitic stainless steels, duplex stainless steels and
nickel alloy grades, this type of tubing is primarily used for the
purpose of hydraulic control lines and chemical injection lines for
oil and gas, and geothermal industry.
Unique capabilities enabled by Meilong Tube make our coils the
longest continuous chemical injection line available in stainless
steels and high nickel alloys. Furthermore, with an exceptionally
clean and smooth inside surface, they are great for chemical
injection systems due to the shorter hydraulic response time and increased collapse
strength. In addition, there are lesser incidences of methanol
permeation.
Duplex 2205 is a nitrogen-enhanced duplex stainless steel, designed to combat
common corrosion problems encountered when using 300 series
stainless steels. It is composed of a ferrite-austenite structure,
with approximately 40-50% ferrite in the annealed condition. This
grade is the most commonly used duplex alloy and displays excellent
resistance to various forms of corrosion. It combines the favorable
qualities of both a ferritic alloy (such as stress corrosion
cracking resistance and higher strength) with those of an
austenitic alloy (facility of fabrication and corrosion
resistance). However, it should only be used in temperatures below
600 °F, as higher temperature exposure may cause embrittlement. The
combination of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen found in Duplex
2205 give it excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice
corrosion. This is particularly useful in marine environments,
brackish water, bleaching operations, closed loop water systems and
food processing applications,
rendering it superior to other stainless steel grades like SS316L
and SS317L in many environments.Features:
Each one tubing coil crafted by Meilong Tube is a completely
continuous length, free of any orbital welds. Every coil is
hydrostatically tested at a minimum of 10,000 psi, and can be
witnessed on site by third party inspectors such as SGS, BV, and
DNV. Additionally, board tests such as eddy current testing,
chemicals, flattening, flaring, tensile and yield, elongation, and
hardness are done to ensure material quality.
Furthermore, Vacuum annealing is done during manufacturing in order
to guarantee cleanliness for both inside and outside surfaces of
control lines and chemical injection lines. The vacuum annealing
removes any degreasing solvents or drawing lubricants, as well as
granting a bright exterior to the tubes and improving its
mechanical properties.
