An Elevator COP (Car Operating Panel) is the control panel located
inside an elevator car. It allows passengers to select their

Elevator COP Panel Features
Floor Buttons: The COP panel includes a set of buttons or switches
representing each floor in the building. Passengers can press the
button corresponding to their desired floor to initiate the
elevator's movement.
Door Open/Close Buttons: The COP panel typically has dedicated
buttons to open and close the elevator doors manually. These enable
passengers to hold or release the doors as needed, especially when
they require more time to enter or exit the elevator.
Alarm Button: An alarm button is provided on the COP panel to alert
the building's security or emergency services in case of an
emergency or distress situation. Pressing this button activates an
audible alarm or signals a central monitoring system.
