cold plastic coatings, glues and the like. It leaves the surface
smooth and ready for preparation, and is often used to remove the
bulk of material prior to using a carbide-tipped cutter.
Also, star wheels/solid carbides are designed for the removal of
thin and hard materials such as paint, coatings, adhesive, plastic
coatings and dirt. It leaves a "Shot blasted like" profile.
