1. Introduction
Honeycomb ceramics provide optimal solutions for thermally

cellular geometry. This lattice-like structure gives rise to

High Surface Area to Volume Ratio
The hexagonal cell shape of honeycomb ceramic substrates generates
an extremely high surface area to volume ratio. This allows for
effective convective heat transfer and mass transfer across the
structure, maximizing heat dissipation and catalyst exposure.
Low Thermal Mass
The thin walls of the honeycomb structure minimize thermal mass.
This reduces thermal lag and allows for rapid heating up and
cooling down of the material. Fast thermal response times improve
process efficiency.
Temperature Uniformity
The shape and density of the honeycomb structure promote
temperature uniformity. This helps avoid hot or cold spots that can
reduce performance and cause material failure.
Strength and Durability
Despite being lightweight and porous, honeycombs exhibit high
strength thanks to the cellular geometry. The structure resists
deformation under load and provides excellent thermal shock
resistance. The substrates maintain integrity and performance in

Description:
This product is a kind of special structure and special material of
wall flow ceramic honeycomb ceramic filter element, used in the
diesel engine exhaust gas purification device, using the hole wall
of the pore wall flow filter body, intercept, capture the carbon in
the diesel exhaust smoke particles, diesel exhaust gas
purification. There are cordierite and silicon carbide material.
