Folding partitions are the ideal way of utilising available space, providing building users with the option of creating a large space with the partitions open or small individual areas when the partitions are closed. Fabric Finished Partitions
The fabric finished partitions are all manufactured within the UK and there are four options available. Each option has a different average effective sound reduction. The partitions are made from extremely strong, durable and light-fast fabric which is Class 1 and Class 0 to BS476 standards for flame spread and are fully washable and mould and mildew resistant. Fabric partitions are a cost-effective way of dividing rooms and they incorporate an internal steel frame which runs on a heavy duty aluminium track. This top hung system does not affect the floor area and can be arranged in either single, double or any combination of two, three or four way layouts. Curves of up to a 1m radius can be incorporated if required.

Operable Walls
Operable walls provide a fast and effective solution to limited spaces. The system comprises of individual interlocking panels. Each panel is locked into place and the final closure is achieved using an expandable end panel which is operated by a removable handle. Operable walls offer superior sound insulation of 38dB-53dB and can be arranged in virtually any configuration. These types of walls are ideal for hotels, conference rooms and leisure centres. The panels are made with a solid particle board on an aluminium frame and filled with mineral wool and other sound absorbing sheets. The operable walls can be finished in vinyl, melamine, veneer or laminate in a comprehensive range of colours. Alternatively the panels can be spray painted in any BS/RAL colour to satisfy any requirement. The panels can incorporate a pass door and 1 hour fire rated board can be specified.

Multifold Partitions
Multifold partitions are an ideal solution for medium acoustic requirements and where there is a need for the weight to be on the floor due to the support structure not being load-bearing. The continuously hinged panels are locked into place on every second panel and the final panel is the communicating door. This system can be single or bi-parting and the panels are made with a solid particle board on an aluminium frame, providing acoustic levels of 38dB-45dB. A wide range of colour and finish options are available.

Wood Finished Partitions
The wood finished partitions are fabricated from superior quality Scandinavian wood veneers or melamines and can be painted. The narrow panels enable neat stacking and coordinating pelmets hide the track system. The panels can be supplied solid or glazed and acoustic versions are available. Wooden partitions provide a more luxurious feel and are ideal for prestige offices, clubs and community centres. The Original partition features an all-over wood veneer, the Crystal partition features translucent or frosted acrylic panels set into the partition and the Acoustic Special incorporates a sound insulating material which achieves a rating of 33dB.
