The raw materials for brick production are carefully measured,
mixed and rolled together. Then, they are stirred, either with
steam or manually, and pumped into an extruder. The finished
product can end up being either a traditional brick, or a hollow
brick strip. The extruder is composed of four elements: the top
stage, the lower stage, the vacuum system and the electric clutch
system. The machine is constructed with all steel welds and
features an aging treatment making it uniquely strong and compact
compared to two-stage machines. It also includes an axial pneumatic
clutch for more efficient and consistent performance.
The bricks must meet set specifications. The soil plasticity index
needs to be seven for hollow bricks, and five for solid bricks.
