The hammer crusher is a machine that crushes materials in the form
of impact, and is divided into two forms: single rotor and double
rotor. It is a crusher for direct crushing of materials with
maximum size of 600-1800 mm to 25 or less in one section. Hammer
crusher is suitable for medium and fine crushing of medium hardness
materials such as limestone, slag, coke, coal, etc. in cement,
chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industrial sectors.
The hammer crusher is divided into two forms: single rotor and
double rotor. The single rotor is divided into reversible and
irreversible types. Single rotor hammer crushers and ring hammer
crushers are widely used.
The hammer crusher consists of a box, rotor, hammer head, impact
liner, screen plate, etc.
The main working part of the hammer crusher is the rotor with
hammers (also called hammer head). It is crushed by the blow,
impact, shear and grinding action of the hammer in high speed
movement. In the lower part of the rotor, there is a sieve plate,
and the particles smaller than the size of the sieve are discharged
through the sieve plate. The hammer crusher is suitable for
crushing minerals of various brittle materials. The crushed
materials are coal, salt, baiya, gypsum, alum, brick, tile,
limestone, etc. The compressive strength of the hammer crusher
material is not more than 100 MPa and the humidity is not more than
15%. It can be used as crushing equipment for stone crushing, stone
crushing, mining crushing, plastic crushing, garbage crushing and
other materials.

Working Principle
The hammer crusher mainly relies on impact energy to complete the
crushing operation. When the hammer crusher is in operation, the
motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed and the material
enters the crusher cavity evenly. The high speed rotating hammer
head impacts and shears the material, causing it to be crushed,
while the gravity of the material itself causes the material to
rush from the high speed rotating hammer head to the baffles and
screen bars in the frame. Material larger than the size of the
screen hole is left on the screen plate to continue to be struck
and ground by the hammers until it is crushed to the required size
and finally discharged from the machine through the screen plate.
Main Applications
The crushed materials are coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, brick and
tile, limestone, etc. It is also used to crush shredded wood with
fiber structure, elasticity and toughness, paper or crushed
asbestos cement waste, etc. It can be used to recycle asbestos
fiber, etc. In addition, hammer crusher can not only be used in
crushing production line, sand making production line, but also can
replace cone crusher in mineral processing production line.
