In an almost surreal juxtaposition to the MV51's suave vintage
motif, the front panel has what you might describe as a dashboard,
backlit with LEDs. Here you'll find icons for the mute mode, as
well as the various recording modes—more on those in a moment—and a
headphone volume adjuster for the included zero-latency 3.5mm
headphone jack located on the rear panel. These icons are actually
touch-sensitive buttons. Tapping the headphone button allows you to
adjust the headphone's volume, and tapping it again switches the
volume slider to a gain control slider.
