Application of Glow Wire Tester:
This device simulates the thermal stress test of glowing component
or heat source like overload resistance or ignition source which is
caused in a short time. It is suitable for electric and electronic
products, household appliances and other material to do fire hazard
testing. It is also used in the no flame ignition source fire test
to test initiation temperature and flammability index of related
glowing filament.
Feature of Glow Wire Tester:
1. Fully automatic, motorized forward & reverse motion of carriage
with test specimen.
2. Wire loop Ni/Cr (77:20), 4 mm dia, shaped as specified in
standard, mirror polished tip to enable easier cleaning (hole dia.
0,6 or 1,1 mm depending on thermocouple selection). Wire loop is
hard soldered to connection discs and easy user replaceable.
3. Thermocouple type K, mineral-insulated, metal-sheathed,
fine-wire with an insulated junction, outside diameter 0,5 mm
(optional 1 mm), Metal sheath resistant to 1100 deg. C.
