What is Modified Atmosphere Packaging, MAP?
Everyone knows that food does not stay fresh forever. Milk turns
sour, bread goes mouldy, meat develops a brown colour and an ‘off’
smell. A number of factors cause food spoilage. Oxygen in the air
can cause a process of decay called oxidation. For example fats and
oils in food can oxidise to make the food turn rancid. One of the
main causes of the spoilage of food is the growth of microbes such
as bacteria, yeasts and mould that are present all around us, even
in and on our own bodies. These microbes feed and grow on the food
product, causing it to go bad. The appearance of food can also
change over time when exposed to air. Fresh meat turns brown after
a while because of interactions between oxygen and pigments in the
tissue.
This MAP packaging machine is also called nitrogen filling
packaging machine, lock fresh packaging machine, etc., modified
atmosphere packaging machine is to use oxygen, nitrogen, carbon
dioxide and other inert gases to mix and replace the air inside the
box to achieve the purpose of air conditioning.
Using the different functions of various atmospheres, most of the
microorganisms that have been degraded by food have grown and
regenerated, and the respiration rate of foods such as fresh fruits
and vegetables has been reduced,keeping the original tastes and
color, so that the shelf life of food preservation cakes is
extended. this machine is widely used for shops to vacuum or
inflating packaging or sealing of fast food, meat, fruit and
vegetables, fruit jelly, pudding, bean milk, etc.
The equipment consists of two kinds of working
chamber:Thermoforming chamber&Heat sealing chamber.
Vacuumizing&gas-flushing jobs are finished at the same room
inside the heat-sealing chamber.Packing materials are aluminium
foils or a variety of films,transparent or opaque, printed or
unprinted,flexible or rigid. To get a more beautiful of the
package, the cotanier also can be some different shapes,it is
called 'Top Film Thermoforming'.The whole process is under
precisely control of PLC,continuously and automatically. Our

Preparations before using the equipment
Step 1: Confirm that the power supply parameters are correct and
the power meets the requirements; for specific parameters, refer to
the device nameplate
Step 2: Confirm that the pressure of the working gas source meets
the requirements of the equipment and connect the trachea according
to the logo
Step 3: Turn on the fresh air source
Step 4: Install heat seal film
