IntelliVue Family introduction

The PHiliphh IntelliVue range of patient monitors offers monitoring solutions optimized for surgical, cardiac, medical and neonatal care environments. It combines patient monitoring and data management, and realizes multiple measurement monitoring by connecting separate modules, with "plug and play" convenience.

Your monitor stores data in trend, event and calculation databases. You can view table trends (vital signs) and log them on a local or remote printer. You can view measurement trend graphs with up to three measurements combined in each graph to help you identify changes in patient physiology. You can view rapidly changing measurement trends with beat resolution and view up to four high-resolution trend segments. Event Monitoring enhances the recording and review of physiologically significant events by automatically detecting and storing up to 50 user-defined clinical events within a 24-hour period.

The IntelliVue X2 or MP5 can be connected to an IntelliVue MP20 to MP90 patient monitor to act as a multi-measurement module, acquiring measurements from the host monitor. When connected to a host monitor, the host controls the connected device. You can recognize when the X2 or MP5 is connected to the host monitor by the following on-screen indicators:

The X2 and MP5 can operate as fully self-contained, battery powered patient monitors. When the X2 or MP5 is disconnected from the original host monitor, it continues to monitor the patient as a stand-alone battery-powered monitor, eliminating the need for a separate transport monitor. When connected to a new host monitor, the X2 or MP5 resumes its role as a multi-measurement module, ensuring fully continuous monitoring.

Troubleshooting

Exchanging the Backlight Tubes

1 Open the backlight tube cable holders by inserting a screwdriver into the small hole at the top of the holder and pushing it backwards.

Reassembly Note: The cables must be reinserted into the plastic cable holder, applying a slight load against the backlight tube. The cable holder serves as strain relief.

2 Disconnect the cables from the backlight inverter board

Please note that the new version of the backlight inverter board is not fixed in a straight position due to its dimensions.

3 Unscrew the screws that secure the backlight tubes and pull out the backlight tubes.

Removing the Backlight Inverter Board

1 Separate the front and back halves of the screen as described above.

2 Disconnect the backlight wire connector (1) and the flex panel cable connector (2).

3 Remove the two screws (3) that secure the backlight inverter board and pull the board off.

NOTE The backlight tube cable must not be unplugged for display exchange
