what is Cemented carbide blade?
Cemented carbide blade is made of cemented carbide, which is an
alloy material made of hard compound of refractory metal and
bonding metal through powder metallurgy process.
Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high
hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat
resistance and corrosion resistance, especially its high hardness
and wear resistance, which remain basically unchanged even at a
temperature of 500 °C , still has high hardness at 1000℃.
the advantages of coating
1) Since the coating material on the surface has extremely high
hardness and wear resistance, compared with uncoated cemented
carbide, coated cemented carbide allows higher cutting speeds,
thereby improving processing efficiency; or Significantly improve
tool durability at the same cutting speed.
2) Since the friction coefficient between the coated material and
the material to be processed is small, the cutting force of the
coated insert is somewhat lower than that of the uncoated insert.
3) When the coated blade is processed, the quality of the processed
surface is better.
4) Due to the good comprehensive performance, the coated blade has
better versatility. A coated grade of blade has a wide range of
applications.
Generally, without explicit requirements, our blades are uncoated.
But if the blade needs to be coated, we can also coat it before
shipping.
