Machine brief introduction
VLF FL4835 is a fully digital computer to flexo plate making
machine. It allows max. imaging area 1200*1020mm and max.
resolution at 5080dpi. Equipped with a newly developed 256-channel
laser printhead, this model could engrave a 50x80 inch full dot
plate in 30 minutes at 5080 dpi. At 5080 dpi, it can image slant or
circular lines as fine as 15 um and rectanggle dot as fine as
5um*5um, to ensure an accurate focus and better dot quality.
The model has 3 speed setting for customer's option. The max.
imaging ares is 1200*1020mm and min. imaging area is 200*200 um.

Key technical features
- The model has independent control of 256 channels LV technology,
together with distance detection and voice soil motor dynamid
sutofocus deveice, It can make sure accurate focus on media surface
disregard the variance on flexo plate material thickness.
- The new generation of LV device can also allow to raise the
resolution to 10160 dpi, at this super hgih resoution, the laser
spot size is 2.5um*2.5um and can images 5 or less un lines. It uses
a high energe power fiber laser device, and takes only 30 minutes
to output a full images size of 50inch*80inch plate, an 10%
increasing of productivity for urgent need.
3. The 256 LV head makes rectangel dot, instead of a round dot.
When using a round dot spot for imaging, the diameter of the spot
size should match the image dot size. For example, for 5080dpi, the
image dot pixel size is 5umx5umwhich is like a square area. So if
using a round light spot size of 5u diameter, the light cannot
expose the four corners of the square area. In order to ensure the
light spot can expose the full image pixel area, the round dot spot
diameter needs to be a larger size which is equivalent to the
diagonal length of the square area. That is 7.07um which is 1.414
times the dot size as shown below.
Supporting processor device
The flexo machine FL4835 makes images on flexo plate. Then the
plate will go into next step: flexo plate processing. The model is
FL1400, which is an all-in-one multifunctional flexo plate imaging
machine. The back exposure, main exposure, washing, detacing and
drying will take place in this deveice .
