1 Thrust tapered roller bearing application
The main characteristics of thrust tapered roller bearings are that
they can bear large axial loads, and have high stiffness and load
capacity. The cone Angle of the inner and outer tapered surfaces of
the thrust tapered roller bearing can be adjusted, so that the
radial clearance of the bearing can be adjusted to adapt to
different working conditions.
Thrust tapered roller bearings are widely used in various
industrial machinery and equipment, such as steel, mining, lifting,
power, water pumps and ships. They play an important role in large
mechanical equipment, such as generators, hydraulic machines, wind
turbines, ship propellers and so on.
2. Advantages of thrust tapered roller bearing
Compared with thrust cylindrical roller bearings, the advantages of
thrust tapered roller bearings are that they can bear larger axial
loads and can adjust the radial clearance to adapt to different
working conditions. However, the disadvantage of thrust tapered
roller bearings is that higher installation accuracy is required,
and the radial clearance of the internal and external tapered
surfaces needs to be adjusted during installation and use to ensure
their normal operation.
