Clay combined Silicon Carbide brick is one high grade refractory that takes SiC as raw material, added in clay as binding agent. With features of good wear resistance and erosion resistance, strong high temp strength, high thermal conductivity, low linear expansion and good thermal shock resistance. The properties of silicon carbide brick largly depends on the state of the crystalline phase, commonly used is clay combined silicom carbide products, usually more clay added, the lower refractoriness is.

Clay combined Silicon Carbide brick is widely used in steel metallurgical industry, mainly used in steel ladle lining, the bottom of blast furnace, electric furnace etc. Also used in non-ferrous metal industry, oil-chemical industrial furnaces.
