This page is about ASME SA213 TP12 High Frequency Welded(HFW Fin
Tube), it also called solid type fin tube,use steel or stainless
steel strip or steel round bar/rod directly welded on the pipe
/tube surface. And HFW fin tube can improving heat transfer
efficiency much more than bare tube. Due to the welding tightly of
the fins to the base pipe / tube, these finned tubes can be often
used in vibrating conditions.
HFW Fin tube has many types: Serrated Fin Tube , Flat Fin Tube,
Studded Fin Tube .And they are used in many different industries. They can use at very high
temperatures possible because the strong connection between fin and base tube prevents loosening
