Contact Drying Yankee Hood Ventilation System Reducing The Energy
Consumption
Yankee hood and ventilation system are specially designed for
high-speed toilet paper machine or special paper machine. The air
supply working temperature of the hood can be adjusted, and its
actual air supply temperature and air volume must be adjusted
according to the operating parameters of the paper machine. All
water vapor evaporated from the Yankee cylinder is taken away by
the exhaust device, and the exhaust air is discharged into the
atmosphere after heat recovery and countercurrent heat exchange
with fresh air, and then cooled by secondary air and water heat
recovery.

According to the different heat source of Yankee hood ventilation
system, the maximum air temperature can be up to 500℃, the maximum

Working principle
Using contact drying and convection drying principle, the high
temperature and high speed hot air vertically blowing to the paper,
making fast convection heat transfer with paper surface, air film
on the interface is damaged or reduced the thickness, so that the
large cylinder drying rate increases greatly, and greatly improve
the machine output and reduce the energy consumption of tons of
paper.
