STE38-A is an STS Standard compliant, keypad type, automatically
valve controlled prepaid single phase electricity meter. It can be
top up with Stronpay vending software directly and communicate with
AMI system via LORA-RF or PLC module.
The meter can also be integrated with African local mobile money
for prepayment, like M-pesa, MTN, Airtel through API(Application
Programming Interface), which is the agreement connecting the third
party APP and our Stronpay vending software. In this way, users can
top up electricity credit by mobile money without leaving the house
and could check information by their telephone at hand with
internet accessibility.

Prepayment: STS standard, input 20 tokens to recharge
Low credit alarm: the alarm value can be set by inputting the
corresponding token
Switch between prepayment and post payment: the meter can switch to
prepayment mode or post payment mode
Load control function: if the current power exceeds the threshold,
the instrument can program the load control threshold. The meter
will cut off the user's load.
Event recording: the meter can record tampering events, cover
opening events, purchase events and tokens.
Self check: the instrument has self check function, which can test
LCD and relay, and report the result directly
Tamper proof: when the magnetic field is detected and the cover is
opened, the instrument will automatically close the valve
Time of use electricity price: the time of use electricity price
can be set by inputting the corresponding token
Overdraft collection: Electric overdraft can be collected day by
day or monthly
Communication: the instrument can be connected with AMI system
through Lora RF or Bluetooth 4.0 as required
Information query: consumers can query credit balance, total
purchase amount, total credit and other data by entering short
code.
