Efficient use of air oil separator method

1. Correct maintenance of lubricating oil is a prerequisite to ensure a satisfactory service life of the oil-air separator. Generally speaking, the service life of the oil-air separator is only limited by the solid particle deposits (oil oxides, wear particles, etc.) on the fine separation layer, which ultimately leads to an increase in the pressure difference.
2. The dirt in the lubricating oil can be reduced by replacing the air filter, the oil filter and following the oil change cycle. In this way, the dirt entering the oil-air separator can be kept to a minimum, which is beneficial to extend the maintenance cycle.
3. The choice of air compressor lubricating oil has a great relationship with the service life of the oil-air separator. Please use approved lubricants that are resistant to aging and are not sensitive to water. Lubricants with poor oxidation resistance are not suitable. Even in a short period of time, jelly-like viscous deposits will be generated, blocking the oil-air separator. The higher working temperature will accelerate the aging of the lubricating oil, so full attention should be paid to the cooling air volume and the scaling of the cooler. When changing the oil, all the used oil must be drained to avoid polluting the new air compressor or dissolving the old and new air compressor oil. In rare cases, the gaseous impurities in the ambient air may cause the lubricant to age prematurely.
