Air compressor shaft seal, shaft sleeve replacement steps:

1.Remove the main engine wheel, remove the key pin;

2.Take out the locating pin of the end cover of the shaft seal with the pin puller;

3.Remove the shaft seal end cover fixing screw;

4.With the round outer pull off the bushing, if no pull recommended cutting machine in the bushing with a slot, unload with tools, in this process should pay attention to not impurities such as into the unit, so as not to produce accessories wear;

5.Remove the old shaft seal in the air compressor unit and clean it with cleaning agent before reloading;

6.Apply glue to the installation position of the shaft seal of the screw air compressor. When the shaft seal is installed, pay attention not to damage the rubber lip. The rubber surface of the shaft seal can be coated with lubricating oil.

7.After cleaning the shaft sleeve position, the end cover will be reinstalled and fixed;

8.Clean the new bushing and the installation position, and coat the inner ring of the bushing with fixed adhesive 638. Cold installation: use the afterforce bar to knock the bushing in with uniform force. The outer ring of the same size is used to knock the new bushing in order to avoid damaging the bushing.Hot charging: the shaft sleeve shall be cleaned without oil.Coat the front journal of the shaft seal with a ring of 638 glue. Heate the sleeve to 110℃ and install it. Push the sleeve to the edge of the shaft seal when the temperature drops.

After completing the above steps, the air compressor also needs to install the belt pulley or coupling, correct the parallelism or centerline, and reverse the disc head by hand so that the lubricating oil can return to the front bearing and shaft seal.
