Production Description
Carbide Nozzles are an excellent choice for manufacturing ferrous
metal rod size wires and relatively short production and trial
runs. Cemented carbide blanks have extremely high density, hardness
and strength. There are round wire drawing dies of 0.1 mm (.004
inch) or a larger size to choose from.
Features:
Faster speed: Due to the high thermal performance of the nozzle in
general, the printing speed can be pushed even further without
sacrificing the quality. The special shape inside the nozzle — made
possible by Dyze Design’s machining and manufacturing techniques —
improves the flow where the diameter tapers, thus allowing a faster
flow rate.
Low friction: The whole nozzle is electroless nickel plated for
enhanced slippery properties. Plastic will slide on the nozzle
instead of sticking to it. This results in cleaner parts and fewer
issues from drag.

Our tungsten carbide nozzle is a single piece, single material
nozzle, meaning thermal conductivity and optimized flow is
maintained through the entire nozzle, unlike multi-material
tungsten carbide tipped nozzles.
Tungsten carbide nozzles are less expensive to manufacture than
ruby or sapphire tipped nozzles and maintain better flow and
temperature stability at the nozzle tip.
