Delivery Status

Gnee Garden products are mostly delivered in an un rusted condition. The formation of the rust patina depends on the weathering. The alternation of moisture and dryness creates a beautiful rust patina after about 2-3 weeks. If Corten steel is used in areas where there is no moisture, we also offer pre-rusting.

If the russeting takes too long for you, you can use our rust accelerator. The granulate is diluted with water and sprayed on thinly. A beautiful red-brown rust patina (patina) develops after a short time. The further russeting then takes place through natural weathering.

We recommend assembling the products in an unostated state in order to avoid soiling the rust patina.
