Intended Use

To be used for blood cell counting, sizing, and WBC differentiation, hemoglobin determination on ABBOTT CD 1800,1700,1600,1400,1300 hematology analyzers. This product is for In Vitro Diagnostic Use only.

APPLICABLE INSTUMENT

For use with CD1800,1700,1600,1400,1300 hematology analyzers.

• Re-calibration is recommended when changing the origin of the reagents.
• It is not recommended using different brands of solutions together on one unit of analyzer.
• Do not ingest. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Skin contact: Flush with plenty of water.
• Eyes contact: Flush with plenty of water. Obtain immediate medical attention.
• This kit is for professionals and in vitro diagnostic use only.
• Never put distilled water on the analyser (except clean for shipping menu), otherwise the pneumatic unit can be damaged seriously.

PROCEDURES

• Using the function keys press the following menus:

MAIN-SPECIAL PROTOCOLS-REAGENT RESERVOIRE-EMTY DILUENT

• Remove the reagent inlet tube from the Diluent.
• Wipe the tube’s surface with a lent free tissue, and then rinse with distilled water.
• Put the reagent tubes into the boxes and/or bottles of Labnovation reagents.
• Using the function keys press the following menu:

FILL DILUENT

This step will fill the reagent system with Labnovation reagent.

• Repeat steps 1-5 with Lyse and Sheath.
• Run at least 5 backgrounds. Check for the acceptable values.
• Run all three levels of a dedicated commercial control. Check for the acceptable values.
• Recalibrate the unit if necessary. (MAIN-CALIBRATION-ENTER-FACTOR)
