The Texas Instruments MSP430FR5987IPM Microcontroller Unit is a
16-bit RISC-based MCU with a wide range of features and
peripherals. It is designed for low-power applications, with
advanced power management and low-power modes for extended battery
life. The MCU supports up to 32 Kbytes of Flash memory, 8 Kbytes of
RAM, and 16-bit timers. It also includes an integrated LCD
controller, on-chip oscillators, and an integrated USB controller.
It is fully integrated with the Code Composer Studio integrated
development environment, making it easy to program and debug. It is
ideal for applications such as medical devices, industrial control,
and consumer electronics.
