410 Stainless

Stainless steel 410 is a basic martensitic grade which contains 11.5% chromium, offering both exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. SS 410 is corrosion resistant to some chemicals, food, mild acids, water, and air. It also proves adequate resistance to nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, dilute acetic acid and naphtha. Elevated mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are achieved with stainless steel 410 when it's hardened and tempered.

410 stainless steel is a stainless steel grade produced according to the American ASTM standard, equivalent to 1Cr13 stainless steel in China, S41000 (American AISI, ASTM). Carbon content 0.15%, chromium content 13%, 410 stainless steel: with good corrosion resistance and machinability, commonly used for blades and valves. 410 stainless steel heat treatment: solid solution treatment (℃) 800-900 slow cooling or 750 fast cooling. Chemical composition of 410 stainless steel: C ≤ 0.15, Si ≤ 1.00, Mn ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.035, S ≤ 0.030, Cr=11.50-13.50.
