Product Description
REAGEN™ Zeranol ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the
quantitative analysis of Zeranol in meat/fish, cereals, feed, milk
, plasma, urine and seed .Zeranol (α-Zearalanol) is a non-steroidal
estrogen agonist. It is a mycotoxin, derived from fungi in the
Fusarium family, and may be found as a contaminant in
fungus-infected crops. Zeranol is approved for use as a growth
promoter in livestock, including beef cattle, in the United States.
However, its application is not approved for use in the European
Union or Canada.
REAGEN™ Zeranol ELISA Test Kit enables international and government
regulatory agencies, food manufacturers and processors, as well as
quality assurance organizations, to detect zeranol in various
samples to satisfy customer concerns about food safety.
The unique features of the kit are:
1. High recovery (>80%),rapid(10-20minutes), cost-effective
extraction methods.
2. High sensitivity (0.1 ng/g or ppb).
3. A quick ELISA assay (less than 1 hours regardless of number of
samples).
4. High reproducibility.
Kit Contents, Storage and Shelf Life
REAGEN™ Zeranol ELISA Test Kit has the capacity for 96 determinations or
testing of 42 samples in duplicate (assuming 12 wells for
standards). Return any unused micro wells to the foil bag and
reseal them with the desiccant provided in the original package.
Store the kit at 2-8°C *. The shelf life is 12 months when the kit
is properly stored.
