FOB test cassette is a simple, direct binding immunoassay for the rapid and
qualitative detection of human occult blood in feces.
The assay is designed to detect lower levels of colorectal bleeding
than other biochemical detection methods.
The test principle is an immunochromatographic sandwich method,
which employ two specific monoclonal antibodies to selectively
identify hemoglobin in test samples.
The result is very specific, and easier to interpret than those of
guaiacbasic test.
The sensitivity is very high with the ability to detect 100 ng/mL
hemoglobin in feces.
In addition, the accuracy of the test is not affected by
interfering substances, and dietary restriction is not necessary.

Test Procedure
Collect stool specimen by using the special specimen collection
device provided.
First, unstrew the top of the specimen collection device, take out
the specimen collection stick, and collect the specimen by dipping the stick into 6 different
places of the stool sample. Then, put the specimen collection stick back in the specimen collection
device and screw together tightly.
If the specimen cannot be tested on the day of collection, store
the stool specimen for 3 days at 4℃.
1. Remove the test kit from foil pouch by tearing along the
specimen and use it as soon as possible.
2. Shake the notch collection device several times.
3. Holding the specimen collection device upright, carefully break
off the tip of collection device.
4. Strip: Immerse the strip into the excrement with the arrow end
pointing towards the excrement.
Do not immerse past the MAX (maximum) line.
Cassette: Dispense 2 drops serum specimen (80-100ul) into the
sample well.
5. Wait for 5 minutes and read results. Read result after 5 minutes
may give erroneous results.
