There are various structures in projected capacitive technology. "One sheet piled-up structure" has X and Y electrodes piled on one sheet. "One sheet two-sided structure" has X and Y electrodes on its surface and backside of one sheet respectively. "Two-sheets-laminated structure" consists of two sheets facing each other with electrodes in between.

How ClearTek II Capacitive Works ?

Small amount of voltage is applied to the four corners of the touch screen .

The x.y location of the point of contact is calculated by the controller and transmitted to the PC .

The EX II Controller procider tailored firmware and fast accurate touch .

A finger touches the screen and draws a minute amount of current to the point of contact .

Capacitive touch screen technology is often recommended to customers who would like the confidence of a brand name LCD such as NEC, which the capacitive touch screen would then be retrofitted to.
