How the crab traps work?
The crab traps usually comprise several parts: main cage, bait bag,
entrance, escape vent and other customized parts. Place small
fishes, meats or other baits into bag and throw the crab trap into
sea or water and wait. When the crab, lobster and other fishes feel
the delicious food, they will attempt to eat them. They enter the
crab trap from entrance. The entrance are specially designed in
funnel shape with large opening and small exit. When the crabs,
lobsters and other fishes feel full and want to leave, they will
find that the exit is not large enough for them to escape. Then
more and more crabs enter the traps and cannot escape, it's time
for your harvest.
One or two escape vents are designed for small crab, lobster and
fishes escaping to ensure the normal breeding and repopulating.
