Acrylic sheet is a special material. According to raw materials, it
can be divided into: pure new material, mixed material, and
recycled material; according to performance, it can be divided
into: ordinary acrylic and modified acrylic.
The DUKE series of acrylic sound screen panels for highways and
railways developed by CDA are modified acrylic panels produced by
Mitsubishi MMA. It has been successfully applied in the project
example. Among them, the DUKE reinforced acrylic acoustic panel has
a national design patent, and all indicators exceed or meet the
corresponding technical requirements.

Effective noise barriers typically reduce noise levels by 5 to 10
decibels (dB), cutting the loudness of traffic noise by as much as
one half.
For example, a barrier which achieves a 10-15dB reduction can
reduce the sound level of a typical tractor trailer pass-by to that
of an automobile.
