Introduction
SA-608 solid acrylic resin is designed to produce coatings that
protect concrete, metal, and plastic surfaces. When dissolved in an
appropriate solvent, SA-608 dries quickly and naturally to form a
transparent film that protects the underside and color. SA-608 is a
copolymer of methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate. It has
good heat resistance and durability, has excellent adhesion, good
color expression and good high hear resistance, with low viscosity
and good workability, excellent abrasion resistance.
It also provides a good adhesion to plastic substrates, like, ABS,
PVC and polystyrene etc.
SA-608 is very compatible with many solvents and nitrocellulose,
and is often used in applications such as marine coatings, plastic
coatings, gravure inks, and screen printing inks, concrete floors.
