Description of Safety Blood Lancet
Safe and Sterile Diabetic Treatment
These diabetic lancets are gamma-sterilized, fully covered, and
protected with a sterility tab for safety. This model of safety
lancet includes a 28-gauge needle and is color-coded purple; blue
23-gauge needles and yellow 170-gauge blades are also available.
For added safety, the single-use lancets are also designed with a
patented, self-destructing activation mechanism that eliminates the
possibility of reuse.
Safety lancets are sterile, single-use devices intended for the
capillary blood sampling.
They are an integral component to the sharps-injury prevention
programs in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, doctor’s offices and
wherever both patients and professionals need to feel safe. By
using safety lancets needle-stick injuries and infections can be
