Description

Acylates Copolymer EP2 is an excellent rheology modifier. It is anionic slightly cross-linked acrylic polymer, alkali-swellable emulsion. It contributes to excellent suspending, thickening and emulsifying ability in personal care products. Acylates Copolymer EP2 is a low-viscosity, easily-used and water soluble white emulsion. It provides superior salt tolerant ability in formula, it’s compatible with anion and nonionic surfactants. With high yield value, insoluble substances suspension ability, strong anti-shear ability and anti-oxidize ability especially at the pH of 4-6, it provides excellent transparency in transparent formula and strengthens pearlescent effect in pearly formula. Meanwhile, it meets the requirement of NO PARABEN and NO PERSERVATIVE.

Properties

Excellent at suspending silicone, zinc pyrithione, powder and other insoluble ingredient in shampoo.
Applicable for highly transparent surfactant formula at the pH of 4-6

Formula Guidelines

Recommended usage: 3.0-10.0%
Guideline in emulsify-system formula: Add EMUL 36 to water at room temperature, then add other ingredients, heating it to 70~80℃. Mix oil phase at another container, and heating it to needed temperature. Then add the oil phase to water phase, emulsifying them evenly. Add neutralizer to adjust pH to 7. Lastly stir it to cool down to 40℃ and add preservative.
Guideline in shampoo, body wash and other cleansers: Add EMUL 36 to water, then add surfactant such as AES, stir it to fully soluble. Add alkali to adjust pH of solution to 6.5-7.0. Add other ingredients of formula, stir it evenly. Lastly adjust pH and viscosity to a proper range.

Shelf Life: 2 years
Standard Packing: 200kg / drum
Storage: Keep in cool, dry, ventilated and lightless place.
Notice: Avoid freezing. Storage temperature: 5-35℃, temperature below 5℃, the product may coagulate.
