Interrupt Cutting Hard Cbn Turning Inserts Hardened Steel Wind Power Bearings

Wind power bearings are often made of 42CrMo4 main material, and then subjected to the following steps for forging technology.

(1)Roughing: Forging type wind power bearings are processed, and carbide tools are selected for processing. For high hardness (above HRC454), Halnn Tools cubic boron nitride inserts can be selected to achieve a depth of 7.5mm. After that, there is a corresponding machining allowance for the subsequent finishing.

(2)Heat treatment: heat treatment of wind power bearings after roughing to improve the hardness, wear resistance and impact resistance of the workpiece, and obtain a good service life.

(3)Finishing: Finished machining of heat-treated workpieces. With the development of modern technology, surface roughness turning tools with accuracy requirements of Ra0.8 can meet the requirements.
