Description
The hard edge graduated filter is characterized by a very sharp
transition between the clear and neutral density sections of the
filter. A hard edge grad allows the photographer to control with
great precision the desired effect of the image – especially when
the transition between two areas in the frame is particularly
abrupt, such as a flat horizon line over the ocean.
Key features
1/ Multi-Coated graduated neutral density filter is made of high
quality Schott B270 optical glass from Germany, that is 2mm
thickness and is designed to specifically darken skies and other
bright areas of the image.
2/ Help to reduce and modify bright areas of an image to bring
balance without altering hue or color rendition. This is especially
helpful when shooting landscape photography under bright skies.
3/ The filters are rectangular in shape to provide more flexibility
to move the filter up or down within the holder to precisely
position the graduation line, for ultimate create control.
4/ Nanotech multi-coating, which helps to prevent dirt and smudges
from adhering to the glass, reduces reflections, and is both
scratch and water proof. The coating process is applied to both
sides of the filter and helps prevent color cast while maintaining
image sharpness.
