1. Description of Sintered Unground Solid Tungsten Carbide Rod
Solid Carbide Rod in sintered unground condition
We manufacture unground carbide rods in stock with HIP sintering
and 100% virgin material.Our grade include ISO K05 to K40, from
machining carbon steel to aluminum , non-ferrous metals and
titanium or we develop grade for your applications.
Standard ultra-fine MT10 grade 10% cobalt covers a number of
applications in cutting tools. The stability and high performance
of the series bring many benefits to our customers and inspires
them to develop quality products.
MT06:Suitable for machining composite materials, such as
aluminum‐magnesium alloys, plastics , reinforced plastics and
carbon fiber, iron‐based alloys, etc. It is recommended for making
big PCB drills of ф3.2‐6.3mm, micro drills of ф0.8‐3.2mm, micro
milling tools and reamers
MT08:It is suitable for machining cast iron, aluminum alloys, etc.
also for machining common steels . It is recommended for the
drilling of cast iron and aluminum alloys.
MT10:It is suitable for machining common steel, cast iron,
stainless steel, heat‐resistant steel , nickel based alloys and
titanium alloys, etc. It is recommended for making conventional
tools, such as twist drills, end drills, screw taps, etc.
MT12:It is suitable for machining titanium alloy , heat‐resistant
alloys, stainless steel, hardened steel, grey cast iron,
glass‐fiber Reinforced plastics, composite materials, etc. It is
recommended to make drills and milling tools, etc.
Rod blanks of L< or = 700mm can be supplied at customers'
requests.

3. Application of high quality tungsten carbide bars
Tungsten carbide rods are mostly applied for end mill and drill
with sub-micron grain grade YG10X,for non-ferrous precision cutting
and wood cutting with sub-micron grain grade YG6X,and for
fibreglass reinforced plastics,titanium alloys,hardened steel with
ultra-fine grain grade YG8X,ECT. It maintains features as stable
mechanical properties, easy to welding, high wear-resisting, etc.
