Introduction:

Grade 1.2379 /D2 is a high carbon and high chromium alloy tool steel with high hardness and wear resistance after heat treatment, and has the characteristics of strong quenching and good dimensional stability.

It can used to make various high precision, long service life cold-working dies, cutting tools and measuring tools.

Applications:

4) it is suitable for all kinds of cold stamping dies that are complicated and easy to deform, with long service life of high wear resistance.
5) it is used as a cold working tool which requires excellent wear resistance and good toughness. It can be used for embossing die and cold forging die.
6) used for heavy-duty stamping die, cold shearing blade, thread rolling, etc.
